    • Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi & Hotel Transfer

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are warmly welcomed by your private professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.

This first day is deliberately relaxed, allowing time to unwind after international travel and adjust to East Africa’s pace. Your guide will provide a short orientation briefing about the upcoming journey into Kenya’s Rift Valley and Tanzania’s famous migration corridors.

Spend the evening enjoying dinner at the hotel and preparing for the wildlife adventures that begin the following morning.

The diverse landscape of wooded escarpments, open grasslands, and alkaline lakeshore is home to black and white rhinoceros, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, buffalo, waterbuck, and large concentrations of birdlife including flamingos in favorable seasons.

In the late afternoon, continue to your lodge near Lake Elementaita for relaxation and dinner.

Home to around 30,000 large mammals year-round, the crater offers outstanding chances to spot buffalo, elephants, hippos, hyenas, flamingos along soda lakes, and the endangered black rhinoceros — completing the Big Five in a single day is often possible.

Continue with extensive game drives through groundwater forests, open floodplains, and lakeshore habitats where elephants move silently between fig trees, baboons patrol the roadside, giraffes browse acacias, and large flocks of flamingos gather seasonally.

A picnic lunch is enjoyed inside the park before a final afternoon safari when animals become more active in cooler temperatures.
