Alternatively, tourists can obtain a visa at Tanzanian airports. Fees are $100 USD for Americans and $50 USD for other nationalities, payable in cash if electronic transactions aren’t possible due to connectivity issues.
Minimum passport validity: 6 months beyond visa issuance/entry, with at least 1 blank visa page. Visitors with visas must show a roundtrip ticket and proof of adequate funds.
When entering or departing Zanzibar or traveling within the mainland, be ready to present your passport and discuss your visa status.
Yellow Fever Vaccination:
