Overview

Day 9 – Tarangire National Park Drive to Tarangire National Park, a landscape defined by towering baobab trees, seasonal river systems, and enormous elephant herds. Enjoy extensive game drives searching for lions, giraffes, zebra, buffalo, ostriches, and large concentrations of wildlife drawn to the Tarangire River. The scenery here is classic and dramatic, making for superb photography. In the evening, transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.     Itinerary

    • Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi

      Arrive at Nairobi International Airport where you are warmly welcomed by your Serengeti Clarity safari guide and transferred to a nearby airport hotel.

      The remainder of the evening is at leisure, allowing you to relax after your journey and prepare for the adventure ahead.

    • Day 2 – Lake Nakuru National Park

      After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive through the dramatic scenery of the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park.

      Enjoy a full-day game drive in one of Kenya’s most rewarding wildlife sanctuaries, renowned for its populations of black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, tree-climbing lions, and prolific birdlife along the soda lake. Picnic lunch is taken inside the park before continuing wildlife exploration.

      In the late afternoon, proceed to your lodge overlooking Lake Elementaita.

    • Days 3 & 4 – Masai Mara National Reserve

      Spend two full days exploring the legendary Masai Mara, one of Africa’s finest safari destinations.

      Morning and afternoon game drives take you across rolling savannahs, river systems, and predator hotspots in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, buffalo, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebra.

      Picnic lunches are enjoyed inside the reserve to maximize time in the field. Each evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

    • Day 5 – Western Serengeti National Park

      After breakfast, travel south toward the Kenya–Tanzania border and continue into Tanzania’s Western Serengeti, following key migration routes.

      The landscapes open into wide grasslands and river systems that attract large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, crocodiles, and hunting predators during the migration season. Game viewing continues en route to your camp.

    • Day 6 – Central Serengeti National Park

      Today is dedicated to exploring the heart of the Serengeti, the wildlife-rich Seronera region.

      Guided game drives traverse acacia woodlands, open plains, and kopjes where lions often rest and leopards lounge in trees. The Seronera River draws vast concentrations of animals, creating outstanding predator sightings throughout the day.

      Return to camp for dinner beneath the stars.

    • Day 7 – Ngorongoro Crater

      After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and ascend to the crater rim for breathtaking panoramic views.

      Descend to the crater floor for a full-day safari within this extraordinary natural amphitheater, home to lions, elephants, flamingos, hippos, hyenas, and one of Tanzania’s best populations of black rhino. Picnic lunch is taken beside a hippo pool.

      In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge outside the crater.

    • Day 8 – Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience

      This day offers a deep cultural immersion away from the traditional safari circuit.

      Travel to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers, learning about their traditional hunting methods and way of life. Continue to visit the Datoga community, known for blacksmithing and craftsmanship, before visiting a Maasai village near Mto wa Mbu.

      In the evening, arrive at your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

      Travel to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro for a scenic finale to your safari.

      Visit Materuni village and hike through lush farmland and forest trails to reach the spectacular Materuni Waterfalls. Continue to Chemka Hot Springs, where crystal-clear turquoise pools provide the perfect place to swim and unwind beneath palm trees.

      Later in the day, you are transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for onward travel.
