Amid Lions: The Best of the Northern Circuit Safari

After breakfast our safari guide will pick you from your hotel/Lodge, and we will drive up to Ngorongoro conservation area then we will continue crossing the Ngorongoro highland up to the entrance of Serengeti national park, where we will start game drive, in the evening you will be heading to the your accommodation for dinner and overnight at central Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park is the park located in northern Tanzania and is world heritage site occupying the area of around 15,000 square kilometers, with over 2 million herbivorous, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species, this area is with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season.

However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope.

After breakfast we continue with full day game drive within the park exploring the central part of Serengeti where will be able to spot good number of animals with the help of guide, in the afternoon we will enjoy picnic lunch on of the best picnic site within the park.

One of the highlights we’ve carefully considered is the timing of your safari. Given your preference for witnessing the magnificent wildebeest migration, I’ve factored in the best seasons for optimal sightings. From July to October, you can marvel at the river crossings, a truly awe-inspiring spectacle. If your heart yearns for the beauty of calving season, December to March in the southern Serengeti at Ndutu offers an unparalleled experience.

Additionally, April and May provide an opportunity to witness the captivating moments in central Serengeti, while June brings the migration to the western Serengeti around Grumeti River, creating memories that will linger in your heart forever.

After breakfast we’ll make our way to the Ngorongoro Crater in hand for another game drive inside the crater while carrying packed hamper lunch. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to arusha for your departure.

Ngorongoro conservation Area is the one of the world UNESCO Heritage sites and one of the Natural wonders of Africa and it consists largest, uninterrupted caldera in the world and about 30,000 large mammals reside here year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos.

Inside the crater you will have a great chance to explore the spectacular lands carps, relax in a new environment, spotting all big five Animals and Bird species like flamingo in the crater lakes. Be ready to see many varieties wild animals here within a minute.
