    Itinerary

    • Day 01: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

      our experts will escort you to the hotel in Moshi for dinner and breakfast, following our provided instructions. Later, there will be a meeting for the Kilimanjaro briefing and equipment check.

    • Day 02: Rongai Gate to Simba Camp (3-4 hours walking)

      After breakfast, you’ll be transported from Moshi to Rongai Gate. Porters will assist with your belongings and guide you through the registration process. The trek begins, leading through a pine forest. Lunch break precedes the trek to Simba Camp at 2600m/8,530ft.

    • Day 03: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Cave (6-7 hours)

      After breakfast, the journey continues to Kikelewa Cave at 3600m/11,811ft, passing the second cave at 3450m/11,318ft for lunch. Tents will be set up according to instructions, providing a camp for the night.

    • Day 04: Kikelewa Cave to Mawenzi Tarn Camp (3-4 hours)

      A shorter trek to Mawenzi Tarn Camp at 4330m/14,206ft offers views of various plants in the moorland. Dinner is served at your campsite.

    • Day 05: Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Kibo Hut (5-7 hours)

      Following breakfast, ascend to Kibo Hut at 4700m/15,419ft in the Saddle. Early dinner is provided, allowing rest before the midnight summit attempt.

    • Day 06: Kibo Hut to Horombo Hut (11-15 hours)

      After tea and biscuits, begin the summit ascent, passing Hans Meyer Cave and Gillman’s Point at 5685m/18,651ft. Snow-covered trails lead to Uhuru Peak at 5895m/19,340ft. Take photos and enjoy tea before descending to Barafu, then Kibo Hut for lunch and rest. Continue down to Horombo Hut at 3720m/12,204ft.

    • Day 07: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate (5-6 hours)

      After breakfast, descend to Marangu Gate at 1830m/6003ft. Hikers sign and receive certificates for summit completion before returning to Moshi, concluding the journey.

    • Day 08: Transfer back to the Airport
